Spring in the Park, a very relaxing time. Plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures to bring out the prettiest of flowers. Our trees begin to fill in and provide the shade you will enjoy during the warmer summer months.

Ah yes, the fishing... The Rogue River supports several distinct runs of Chinook and Silver Salmon, and SteelheadTrout. The river hosts some of the largest runs of the famed sea run half pounder Steelhead, sought by fly fishers. In addition the River has a native and stocked year round Rainbow Trout population. Pictured with the huge Salmon is Marilyn, She and husband Michael have been regular Park visitors for years and caught their share of large fish.

From anywhere in the Park, you are never more than a hundred yards from the river. For those who enjoy swimming, the natural sandy beach in front of our Park, awaiting you and the kids. Make sure to bring swim goggles to help you see the fish and bring your fishing gear if you would like to invite a few of those fish home to dinner.

The beautiful and famous Rogue River: Fished in years past by Zane Grey, Ernest Hemingway and Clark Gable. Host to several Hollywood blockbusters like "River Wild" where Meryl Streep rafted to danger with the character portrayed by Kevin Bacon, and a 1951 movie with Rory Calhoun, aptly named "Rogue River", and many more. After a long hard day of fishing, relax on one of the manicured lawns or on one of the provided chairs throughout the Park. When you are our guests, it is your Park to enjoy.

We are often asked: "How big are your sites?" The simple answer is... "It varies". Depending upon placement, some of the sites are quite spacious and great for families, while others are best enjoyed by couples. Visit the Maps & Information page to see how the sites are arranged and you will get an idea of how large the sites are and which sites may be best for your needs. Or, call and explain the size of your party to our hosts, and rely on them to place you in a suitable spot.

Our office and small store has some of the last minute items you may need to make your stay more enjoyable: Ice, Ice Cream, small RV accessories and a few other items are available. A soda machine, stocked with ice cold soft drinks, is outside the office and accessible at all hours. Within a mile of the Park are convenience stores, world class eateries and adult lounges.

You will appreciate the river views and cool breezes off the water and the shade from the massive trees. Watch river otter play, Osprey dive for their meal and rafters as they glide by on the river. In the fall, some of our trees change to give the park a colorful flavor. On the right is the landscape view of the George West sunset photo. Make sure to take lots of photos while you are here. It would be our pleasure, to add your photo with credits to this page.
